Board of Commissioners

The seven-member Board of Commissioners governs the Housing Authority of Billings and is responsible for establishing policy and approving the HAB’s annual budget. The Board of Commissioners also hires the Executive Director. The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the Housing Authority and implements policies and programs established by the Board.

Each Board member is appointed by the Mayor of Billings. Two of the seven board members are resident commissioners who are HAB residents, as well as members of the board.

The Board meets on the last Wednesday of each month at the Housing Authority of Billings Board Room at 12:00 pm, unless otherwise noticed in the Billings Gazette.
